
VICTORY: HISTORIC TENTATIVE AGREEMENT REACHED!
After a series of difficult bargaining sessions over three months, we have reached a tentative agreement on a historic three-year contract. Our collective action and solidarity were the keys to the victory.
The tentative agreement contains meaningful contract advancements and addresses longstanding issues, which include:

substantial wage increases to help recruit new nurses and retain experienced nurses in the Sharp HealthCare system

new job protections and rights
-
significant improvements in SPNN nurses' ability to advocate for safe staffing and patient care

historic gains that allow us to provide the highest standards of care
Next steps
We will hold a series of informational meetings where members will hear the details of the tentative agreement and have a chance to discuss it. Please join us for one of the upcoming informational meetings. Our SPNN affiliate officers are unanimously recommending a YES vote to ratify this contract.
Voting on the tentative agreement will be conducted electronically. Voting begins on September 10th at 6:00 AM and concludes on Wednesday, September 14th at Noon. Stay tuned for more details. If you do not receive your ballot on September 10, reach out to spnn.unacuhcp@electionbuddy.com.
