After a series of difficult bargaining sessions over three months, we have reached a tentative agreement on a historic three-year contract. Our collective action and solidarity were the keys to the victory.

The tentative agreement contains meaningful contract advancements and addresses longstanding issues, which include:

  • substantial wage increases to help recruit new nurses and retain experienced nurses in the Sharp HealthCare system

  • new job protections and rights

  • significant improvements in SPNN nurses' ability to advocate for safe staffing and patient care

  • historic gains that allow us to provide the highest standards of care

Next steps

We will hold a series of informational meetings where members will hear the details of the tentative agreement and have a chance to discuss it. Please join us for one of the upcoming informational meetings. Our SPNN affiliate officers are unanimously recommending a YES vote to ratify this contract.

Voting on the tentative agreement will be conducted electronically. Voting begins on September 10th at 6:00 AM and concludes on Wednesday, September 14th at Noon.  Stay tuned for more details. If you do not receive your ballot on September 10, reach out to
